Is it not true that when you put "QUOTES" around something, then you must copy it EXACTLY as it is in the text?!

because, in a verbal passage, EK gave me a question with some quoted text that was not the same as the passage...

is this acceptable or was this an error?
 
Technically, you're supposed to remove the quotes if for minor alterations, like changing the tense. Is that EK 101? I tried a couple of passages to see what verbal is like and at least one of their answers had a major logical flaw. 🙄

yeah its EK. that's why I hate EK so much. every passage has a very debatable answer choice that you just have to eat up and smile. TPR's book is consistent, and has much more diverse content.

Yea, those answer choices made EK much harder than TPRH for me.
