If a school has invited me for an interview does that mean they have looked at the courses I have taken and deemed the writing intensive courses I have taken suitable? I have taken some humanities and religious studies courses that some schools have deemed acceptable, but i am not sure if this is the case across the board. I am on a gap year right now and have one acceptance so far and several interviews coming up.
 
Prerequisites are required to be completed by the time of matriculation, so an II doesn't necessarily mean they approve of the classes you've already taken as fulfilling their requirements. Just email them and ask
