My states' medical school requires a year of English. I will be finishing the English 102 (second semester English course for freshman) class at my CC.

Will this be frowned upon by adcoms or am I alright?

If you took it while you were enrolled in a 4 year university it may be frowned upon because ADCOMS might assume that you decided to take it at a CC because you likely could not handle the English courses at your 4 year University.

If, on the other hand, it was taken before enrolling in a 4 year, it should be fine.

I haven't transferred yet and I plan on taking a technical writing course when I transfer to my four year anyway. I'm actually a Dual Enrollment student.
