English Requirements For MD School

I thought it was generally 1 year of writing/English/literary type classes. I don't think most schools do anything past check off a box that says, fulfilled basic course requirements.
 
Agree with the above post. If the AP credit covers one semester, and you take an additional english course I think it should be okay.

It depends on the medical school and the AP score you received. If it was a 3 most medical schools won't accept it. I took 2 English classes in college because when I talked to my state school my sophomore year they told me they hated AP credit and to take a couple upper level English classes.
It's totally medical school specific, so look at the requirements of the medical schools you're applying to.
