I have a class called "Physiology Lab", but we have both lecture and lab. I called amcas and asked them if I should put "lab only" or "lecture and lab combined" there. A woman said it doesn't matter and I can put either. What do you think I should put? So it really doesn't matter whether "lab only" or "lecture and lab combined"? Thank you!

P.S. I have both "physiology" and "physiology lab". The prof. also gave some lectures in "physiology lab". I concern about putting "lab only" or "combined" for "physiology lab" because I heard somewhere that "combined" weighs more. I'm in a quarter-system university, and every class is 1 credit on our transcript. I looked it up online and one website said "combined" weighs more in this case. I appreciate any input.

Enter designations for all of your lab coursework exactly as they appear on the
official transcript. If the lab credit is included with the lecture course credit,
append the phrase "and Lab" to the exact course title as it appears on the official
transcript. For example, if "General Chemistry II" appears on the official transcript
and lab credit is included with the lecture course credit, enter "General Chemistry
II and Lab" and select "Combined Lecture and Lab" in response to the question,
"Did this course include a lab section?"

I'd personally put it down as Physiology and Lab, but as long as you choose "Combined Lecture and Lab", they should figure it out.

I have a class called "Physiology Lab", but it is actually lecture and lab combined. I called amcas and asked them if I should put "lab only" or "lecture and lab combined" there. A woman said it doesn't matter and I can put either. What do you think I should put? So it really doesn't matter whether "lab only" or "lecture and lab combined"? Thank you!

If it was a lecture and lab combined, then put lecture and lab combined. Not sure where your issue is....especially because you just said it doesn't matter. 😕
