entering courses into vmcas

I hate to burst your bubble.........but don't celebrate too much. You'll get to do it again, and again, and again for supplemental apps!
Enjoy the time now and CONGRATS on getting that taken care of (if even only for VMCAS)!!

I'm so not thinking about that yet. Nope.
Two bachelors degrees, 3 quarters of masters degree...I entered all of mine too!
I drank. Heavily.

I am not yet adequately prepared for this. I am running a little low in the alcohol department.
Not to take away from the OP, but what is the order for entering the courses? I started out at a community college for two years, went to a four year for a semester, then took two semesters at a different community college and went back to my four year. Then while completing my BA, I would take classes at the community college and four year university at the same time (I did this for a few semesters). I am also taking classes now after I have recieved my BA, so is that different as well? I will be taking an online animal nutrition course at a different university in the spring. Do you just enter everything from each college separately or is it by semester? I know I am making this complicated but if anyone could offer any advice, I would greatly appreciate it😳 Thanks!
I swear, there were times I thought that entering the courses were harder than taking them - as a non-trad, I had two degrees, prereqs for second degree, prereqs and classes for 3rd degree I started which kicked me into "this-is-ridiculous-I-don't-want-my-MBA-I-want-to-go-to-vet-school" mode and resulted in all the prereq courses (starting at Biology 101). Total of eight schools. And the tracking/cost of sending transcripts from each...
...makes me want to have a cocktail just thinking about it!!

man i had it easy... me and my traditional self... good luck to all those who are compiling the classes, and congrats to those who have it done! Celebrate the small steps, but hold the MASS PARTY for when you hit submit 🙂... and then paint your nails with something that tastes gross so you don't bit them to the bone waiting to hear back 🙂

You enter each school's classes separately and by quarter/semester/unit/etc. So my suggestion is start with one school and do the semesters/whatever in cronological order then move on to the next school. Makes it slightly easier to keep track of if you only focus on one transcript at a time.
I also HIGHLY suggest printing off your VMCAS app and saving it. I lost my transcripts but was able to just enter the info based on what I had put in last year.

Did I read that starting this year, as a re-applicant, you won't have to re-enter all the courses each time?
But, we're all hoping that none of us have the chance to enjoy that luxury.
(Read: We all get in and no one has to worry about it. 😉 )

I had to...at least I didn't see any link or place indicating that you could somehow pull stuff off last years app.

Starting this year, stuff will be saved - so if you have to reapply NEXT year you'll have it there. This year's still manual entry.
I had to go dig up this thread to remind myself that I am not the only one feeling the pain. Sorry guys, misery loves company! And I've only made it through 1 semester of one school (out of 8). This is soooo much more painful the second time around, especially knowing that if I had been one year later in applying that my info from the previous year would have been saved! I am living in a bubble where I truly believe I will get in this year, but I guess if that bubble is burst, then at least my info will be there.
And seriously, why do we have to re-enter all this on the supplementals? What is the point of VMCAS if every school just asks for the exact same info themselves? The supplemental for my school isn't out yet, but there was some implication that data from previous applications could be imported... fingers crossed!
Sigh... one more semester and I'm calling it a night! Too bad I don't drink!
