Envelopes in Mailboxes

Haha, this is a very random question but: Can you send the big yellow envelopes in a mailbox (w/stamps) or do I have to go to the post-office?

Just curious for letters of recs, and applications, etc.

you can send them in your mailbox.. just make sure you have enough postage on them. Probably safer to have it weighed at the post office to make sure your app gets there on time.
