Hi everyone, I hope we can discuss in this thread informations about EP programs including pros and cons. Will also build interview list as we start getting interviews. Please feel free to share information regarding programs which filled internally too. Here is a great thread done in 2020. Hope we all get matched in the programs we like. Good Luck.

Hey all, I won't be applying this year as I'm a rising PGY-5 but am looking forward to seeing how this years application season plays out. Looks like only 81 programs are participating in the match...not really sure what to make of that. Anyway, wanted to wish everyone good luck and I'll continue to follow this (hopefully) busy thread.

Hi, Good luck to everyone applying this interview season. Keep this thread active guys. Can some one share any feed back about any list of programs with red flags/ low volume because of pandemic?
 
When do you guys think are going to be most interview days? starting in mid-sept? or in late September to mid-October. Just want to plan my schedule and time-off accordingly so can group the interviews where possible.
Virtual vs in-person interviews: I guess we still don't have a clear idea but I'm getting a feeling that most places are going to be virtual

For me, 1 in mid August, the other in mid September, both will be virtual

I heard the same from a former fellow too. They’re taking internals only and will go out of the match

No, I heard that too. Hopefully this week we had more info. As well from UT Southwestern said that they may go out of match also. Internal candidates.
