Are you a former or current student in the Epidemiology department at Emory, Columbia, or UC Berkeley?

I've been admitted to these schools for an MPH in Epidemiology and I'm trying to decide between them. I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions about the department, school, or MPH program. I'm interested in anything you can tell me, but here are some specific questions too:

1.) What are the typical class sizes like? Are they very large, does it depend on the class?

2.) Are professors easy to interact with and easily accessible?

3.) Are there many opportunities for MPH students to perform research, specifically those interested in infectious diseases? Do students receive any kind of financial support for working with professors? Is there any kind of tuition break for graduate research assistantships? Are these positions only for work-study students, or are non work-study students eligible? What percentage of MPH students seem to do research during the school year?

4.) Do most students in the MPH program enter the workforce after graduating, or do a good number move on to a PhD program? Do they stay at the same school for a PhD or usually go to different schools?

5.) I am interested in focusing on infectious diseases. Is there a lot of infectious disease research being performed by the faculty?

6.) Were you generally impressed with the quality of the education? Do you have any general opinions about the school/department to share?

Here's some general information about myself, in case that helps in your answer:
I have a bachelor's in Biological Chemistry.
After college I worked for 2 years in a genetics laboratory.
For the past 2 years I have worked for a clinical research organization (first as a Project Assistant and now as a Medical Writer).
I am interested in infectious diseases and global health.

Thanks for any help you can give me!
