Hello,

I'm wondering if anyone has actually taken part 2 of the EPPP recently? AZ has adopted the part 2 as a requirement for licensure and unfortunately there isn't much out there in terms of resources, study materials, practice questions, or other guidance for this version of the exam. Please help!

I personally used a tutor for EPPP part-2 which made it a breeze. There are some nice free resources for EPPP Part-2 on Dr David's EPPP Tutoring Service website which I found to be helpful.

The Arizona Psychological Association has also released a video lecture series which provides a helpful walkthrough of the exam alongside test-taking strategy.

I'm thinking of doing the same. How many sessions would you suggest for good prep?

I took and passed the EPPP Part 2 yesterday! I took it two days after Part 1 and did not do any additional studying. My only preparation was that I looked at the Sample Items, reviewed the types of questions, and watched both videos by Spirit Soul Sense- which accurately reflect my experience with the test, too. Part 2 felt easy, especially compared to Part 1, but I only passed Part 2 by a small margin, so perhaps it's not as intuitive as it feels. I should also add that there are a LOT of child assessment questions, and I have no training or background in child psych or child assessment. I felt like I could figure it out based on what I know about T-scores, but that was definitely a relative weakness for me.

My takeaway is that you absolutely CAN pass without studying any more than you did for Part 1. However, if study materials become available in the future, I would take advantage of them so that you can make sure you're answering the questions how they want and reduce chances of having to take it again. Good Luck!
