Hi
Looking for a study buddy. Taking the exam in about a month or so and hoping I can connect with someone to talk about content and testing strategies.

Thanks!

Anyone:

I am a provisional license candidate. I plan on taking my EPPP in mid October. I have some questions . . .which practice tests are the most predictive of success?

  • AATBS
  • Psychprep.
  • Mometrix.
  • EPPP exam Prep: 900 practice questions.
Does the EPPP strictly follow the 2019 outlined domains? E.g. I have noticed a significant number of practice questions are HR/organizational Psych in nature. I do not see Org. Psych. on the list. What gives?

Biological Bases of Behavior
Cognitive-Affective Bases of Behavior
Social and Cultural Bases of Behavior
Growth and Lifespan Development
Assessment and Diagnosis
Treatment, Intervention, Prevention, and Supervision
Research Methods and Statistics
Ethical/Legal/Professional Issues

Regards

WHB

You'll see plenty of industrial/organizational questions. My best guess is that they'd fall under Social and Cultural/Research Methods and Statistics. Most study materials break it down into 10-11 content areas that are easier to organize. I used AATBS Gold Package/Psychprep audios from forever ago and passed on the first try. With AATBS, domains are as follows:

Ethics and Professional Issues
Clinical Psychology
Abnormal Psychology
Life-Span Development
Learning Theory
Physio/Psychopharm
Social Psychology
I/O psychology
Psych Assessment
Stats and Research Design
Test Construction

I think you'd do yourself a disservice if you don't spend time reviewing for I/O. Not sure I would have passed if I didn't study this area pretty intensely.

IO is a large covered domain on the eppp.
I recommend you master the top 6 domains.
I found the aatbs exams to be most similar to the actual test questions
