Does anyone know how to read ADTS for each program? It seems that some say "Not yet retrieved," some list the date and time I submitted, some list a different date and time, and some list a different date and time and have a special note next to MSPE that says "Retrieved but not viewable until October 1st release." Not sure what each note means.

Same here guys, not sure what it all means. I even had once that was in all grey text. Not sure what that's about.

To me it seems that if there is a date next to the items for a particular program then those items have been retrieved by that program. Otherwise it would say "not yet retrieved", or whatever it says. No?!

I just finished applying a few minutes ago, and almost immediately after programs have retrieved. The ones that are dark all have the same time, and the ones that are a more pale grayish color have differing times. Maybe the gray is the time the programs actually get the application on their computers?

According to ERAS twitter, different colors don't mean anything. Just a browser thing, apparently.

related to this I'm just wondering if it says "first available to programs" and then lists a date/time if that means the programs have downloaded the application? wheras not yet retrieved of course means they have not.

Yeah I don't know what to make of the grey vs black thing...at first I thought grey was that they had actually retrieved your application but then I got a message from one of the programs that was in black basically saying "thanks for applying here we review applications in October". So I have no idea what the different colors mean.

Pretty sure grey means you're a lukewarm candidate, and black means you're either a shoe-in, or you just got rejected. Purely speculative though. Will investigate further...

If it says 'not yet retrieved' the programs have not downloaded it yet. There are sometimes glitches where not all parts of the application were downloaded at the same time, but programs cannot screen what they get and what they don't... They either get everything in the application or nothing.

The MSPE can be downloaded, but not viewed by programs until Oct 1.

In my ADTS there are time-stamps beside all the programs I applied to. Strangely the time stamps in black besides 2/3 of the programs are all the same and exactly when I submitted my application. 1/3 of the time stamps are in grey and are at all different times. Does this mean all have uploaded or only the ones in gray?

Black are the programs that have already rejected you but are waiting for the MSPE to make you feel better. Gray means they're still consider your app.

NB...everything above it total bulls***. But it's hard not to troll people who read tarot cards, which is basically what you're doing here.

Some of the confusion here is probably because there are two different systems in play here.

Some programs are beta testing the new Web Based ERAS system. I know you all have been web based for years. But we are just trying it this year. Those of us trying this new system don't "download" anything from the post office, per se. We instantly get access to your application when you apply, and then we can download documents if we want.

Many other programs are using the "classic ERAS". It's a program that downloads materials from the ERAS Post Office whenever the program requests it.

So some of the differences you're seeing MIGHT be due to the different systems being used by programs. But this is a total guess on my part.

Oh, this makes so much more sense now. I was wondering why so many different programs had the same time stamp for documents and it appeared to be instantaneous so there might be something for programs to automatically query and retrieve data.

I didn't read the replies so forgive me if this has already been stated. The colors of text means nothing as per an email I got from eras. They said it's a glitch in the system and is meaningless
