ERAS and USMLE Scores Information

So I know that whatever scores you have available will be sent when you submit your ERAS, and you can opt to automatically send new ones as available or not.

My question is, at what day does the ERAS system pull your scores to send?
Is it during the process of working on the application where it will pull in the transcript? Or is it when you send off to programs?

The reason I ask is I should get my CS score back on Aug 14th - obviously before I could submit to programs. But would I be able to start the application when it opens on Aug 1st, upload the transcript as is at that point in time and then have it not auto-release new scores?

It sends the scores as-of the day you apply to the program. If your score comes back Aug 14th, it will be included in your applications.
