So, I was doing some other paper work forms and looked back at my ERAS CV and realized I made a mistake!!! Under awards, I had listed graduation honors from undergrad as "summa cum laude" but I actually graduated with "magna cum laude"!

When I was filling out my form, I could remember which title was which and apparently I forgot to go back and fix it or hit save or something...anyway, now I have a higher award listed than what I really got-is it going to look like I was trying to lie??? What can I do about this-I can't alter it now that it has been submitted...please offer advice????

Btw, I am applying to peds programs if that makes any difference

I don't know what to do...should I contact programs to tell them? Should I make sure my deans letter(which hasn't been sent yet) has magna on it? Or should I just not say anything and hope no one notices?

Argh, I almost didn't even put it on my app.....

Easy, just write a letter to programs describing the mistake and your correction.

How about: Leave it alone. No one is going to care about your graduation from undergrad school, and a small error like this doesn't matter. When you interview, you could mention it to the PD/PA just to be honest.
