Already looked in the thread on ERAS publication listing and didn't find answers, so here goes:

1) Published paper with volume/issue numbers but page numbers starting with 1 (i.e. every paper in an issue starts with page 1, so an online journal?) = "peer reviewed online publication?" Or do online journals count as "peer reviewed journal/articles/abstracts?"

2) NCBI listed papers as "epub ahead of press" = "peer reviewed journal/articles/abstracts (other than published)" -> "in press," right? Seems obvious?

Dumb questions, but I have a number of things to list and am terrified (rightfully or not) of making a small mistake, so is there a really detailed resource on this? My PI is not a good resource.

Thanks

1) Was it peer-reviewed? PubMed indexed journals require some peer-review. However if you just paid someone $3000 to publish your article online, it make not be peer-reviewed at all. You need to check the journal itself. Either way, doesn't mean you can't put it on your ERAS.

2)NCBI listed papers "epub ahead of press" are just that, peer-reviewed journal articles that are published online because the official journal volume has not been finalized. "epub ahead of press" versus "in press" have no real distinction.
