How do we submit a work in progress? There is an option in a dropdown menu (pubs tab) called peer reviewed (other than published), and then this spawns another dropdown menu, but nowhere can we indicate that the paper is currently being written, and has not been submitted.

There have been several threads about this. Short answer: if you haven't at least submitted it, you cannot include it in the publications section. Your only option is to mention that you are currently working on a manuscript in the relevant research experience section.
