Erasmus exchange: advice on where to go

Previous post was too messy, so I'll just ask:
Has anyone heard of an Erasmus exchange student in Ireland that wasn't from a French university?
And if not, any reason why?

I am from Florida (USA) and I did an exchange program at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.. I met a ton of EU students on Erasmus. They were from Spain, France, Italy, Germany... didn't have any friends from Portugal though. My time in Ireland was amazing, and all of my Erasmus friends loved it to!!! I wish I could go back. I will be starting medical school this year in Florida and will hopefully be back to Europe sometime!
