I'm so estatic right now. I got an interview invitation from Lecom Erie. I know its no gaurentee or anything like that, and that I still have a long ways to go before I can be accepted, but I'm happy anyway. I'm excited and scared to death. It's set for mid November. The only bad thing is I have to reschedule (exam on that day + Ochem lab). That won't be a great start, but I can't avoid it.

Anyone recently interview at erie, that would want to give me any tips?

Do you or does anyone know if LECOM requires the letters of reference to be all professors or could it be two pharmacists and one professor?

I first got the interview invitation for 11/13 but then I rescheduled it for 11/28, and I just canceled it because I got into LECOM-B. So someone will have a chance to be invited to the interview.

I am very late... I just finised with their admission essay and will mail it in either tommorrow or this Friday overnight. Hope they receieve it before they receive my October PCAT .. I got stuck with the questions why I want I choose Erie... Other than because it is only 3-year, I can't think of anything else.

I actually interviewed at LECOM Erie on their very first interview dates, November 13th. I received a letter last week telling me that I was accepted! Good luck on your interview in January, the students and faculty are EXTREMELY friendly and helpful!🙂

I was also there during the first batch of interviews. Don't worry about it too much. The faculty and staff were very helpful, just as jaymoney said, and you could tell they wanted to make the day as stress free as possible. Just be yourself and you'll be fine. Also, talk with your fellow applicants, it will help reduce stress. Who knows they might be your future classmates. I know at least two other people in my group, as well as myself, got in.

I had an interview on November 13th at LECOM Erie. I got my acceptance letter last week. I submitted my supplemental application along with my PharmCAS application the last week of August. Here are my stats:

Overall GPA: 3.69
Science GPA: 3.59
PCAT: 76 Composite
Work Experience: 5 Years in Pharmacy, 3 Years as Certified Pharmacy Tech
Letters of Reference: Molecular Biology Teacher, + 2 Pharmacists

I was a little concerned about my PCAT, but it all worked out. Good luck to you! 😀

I got accepted to LECOM Erie on the 28th of November and had my interview a week before. I also got accepted to NEOUCOM (a school near Youngstown, Ohio) but I am going to Erie. I'm graduating with a degree in molecular biology in May from Grove City Colelge in Pennsylvania.

Overall GPA: 3.3
Science GPA: 3.2
PCAT: 79 Composite
Work Experience: I worked over the summer as a Pharmacy Tech and have some job shadowing experience from high school.
Letters of Reference: Anatomy professor, microbiology professor, and a pharmacist

I got an invitation on 1/23(wed). I originally will be there on 1/9 but emergency came up so I requested reschedule and I got an email from school.

Hey Cju101, sorry to hear about the Grove City thing. Our football team isn't that good so you're probably better off. I'm from Ohio and came to Grove City to play basketball. You're going to LECOM Erie right? See you next fall!!!
