So I just realized today that I put that I worked in a lab til Dec 2011, instead of 2010. I have already applied (being verified now). Is this going to be a big issue?

edit*** so I will add, a prof from this lab will be writing a LOR, so I am positive that her correct date will conflict with mine.

Call AMCAS and tell them.

More like 20 minutes after waiting on hold...

Yeah, they are closed on the weekend. Worse case scenario, they will reject me after seeing it, or ask me in an interview, if I get that far. I already spoke to my lab contact. I am sure she would explain that it was a mistake if they called to verify.

Nobody will probably even notice this.

This.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you are so concerned, then I would wait until interviews to bring it up.

I accidentally marked my mother down as a male on my application. That couldn't be changed. I was asked about it on the interview trail, but it was like a big joke. Noooo worries OP. Acuna matata

I had to fix something similar on my application last year. They have a special end around process for this kind of situation. Call them and they will send you a link to request the change you specified.

Ask if you will lose your place in the verification line, if you make that change. You might wait until your application is fully verified if you would lose your place.

That would have been hilarious.
*So, it seems that you have been conceived by two men... That sounds fascinating. Tell me more.*

Did they look at you with bewilderment, or did they just assume that Linda/Amy/etc. was a guy's name? Haha
