Error in Secrets? Causes of hyponatremia

OK, so on page 2 of Secrets, it lists the causes of hyponatremia. Under hypovolemic hyponatremia, it says:

Addison's disease/hypoaldosteronism (low potassium)
​

Shouldn't that read high potassium?

Also, is there any thread for Secrets errata?

What is the classic cause of hyponatremia in pregnant patients about to deliver?
Answer: Oxytocin, which has an anti-diuretic hormone-like effect.​

Why is the word "anti" placed there? Don't diuretics cause hyponatremia?

I thought diuretics made you lose pure water hence --> hyperNa.
In oxytocin's case; since it acts like ADH you will gain pure water & hence get hypoNa

I think you are right about the HIGH potassium

I'm remembering something in FA that said all diuretics cause hyponatremia. Let me check, one sec...

OK yes, my memory serves me correctly...on the last page of the renal section in FA (Step 1), it says that ALL diuretics cause urine NaCl to increase....so doesn't that mean it would cause a decrease in serum sodium? 🙁

I figured that, since they both come from the posterior pituitary? Maybe similar structure?

I think this is correct now, lol.

I think what they are trying to say is that low potassium can cause hypoaldosteronism.

On page 52 of secrets, it says that high potassium can cause hyperaldosteronism. So the reverse must be true.
