i've never seen one before and never written one before

very little help available in my country when it comes to applying foreign medic school...

so, i don't see the funny side of it

It's funny because only you know why you want to go to medical school, and you should be able to write about it. In the states we are scored on our writing ability in essay exams, in order to get into medical school, and then are interviewed on our sincerity and qualifications.

Using somebody else's essay as a "reference" is perceived here as "plagiarism."

If you write your essay, I would be happy to help you edit it. I have helped some other people on here with that before. I would assume that the essay is similar in format to what is required here. Basically, you write about why you want to become a doctor, why you would be a good doctor, what inspired you to pursue medicine, etc. When you write your essay, PM me and I would be more than happy to help you with it.
