Hi,
I have an interview on the 29th and i have read on some interview feedbacks that on the interview day, students are required to write essays on selected topics of pharmacy.
This is my first admission interview ever, and i have no clue what to expect, not to mention that i do not have a lot of experience in pharmacy (just shadowing) so iam worried about that essay.
Can anybody help me please? If anybody who had been through a pharmacy school interview before would like to share with me or give me ideas on what to expect on that essay i would be really thankful.

USC provided an article and required a summary of the article, citing main point of article and main points of each paragraph. Oddly enough one person's I saw wrote more than was written in the original article. I'm not sure how that could be considered a "summary". At Western, the essay wasn't even pharmacy related. Basically pick a time when you did something "creative" in your life and how it has affected your life. Oregon State asked "Should pharmacists be able to prescribe. Why/Why not"
Each school is different, you may never see anything even remotely close to this, but this should give you an idea as to the variety of things that can be thrown at you.

You should ask the people who have had interviews at that school to see how the essay is set up. Whether they give you a list of topics; or give you an article; or just simply an ethics question about new pharmacy issues. To prepare for my interview I looked at diff issues such as plan B, medicare part D, gardasil... look up the topics in healthcare forum http://forums.studentdoctor.net/forumdisplay.php?f=147
