So, I know most state schools allow you to establish residency after one year, so you'd be in state for years 2-4. But, which schools don't? I found out that Michigan doesn't, any others?

Each state has their own requirements for establishing residency. For most if you moved to a state for the purpose of going to school negates the residency status. In other words, you must have moved to a state for purposes other than education.
