Establishing TX Residency?

According to TMDSAS, a person can establish Texas residency by owning and operating a business in Texas. Now are we talking like a big business, or like a kiosk at the mall? Lol. Seriously though.. what about like an e-commerce business?

How can that be possible if you are operating it in another state?

Well I mean move there for a few months, or just open up an e commerce site and manage it, but have some friends from TX do all of the shipping out of a home office.

A person *can* establish residency but they still have to go through all of the state protocol, such as paying taxes in TX for a year, and living there for 12 consecutive months prior to submitting a college application, if you are seeking in-state status for collegiate purposes.

No easy ways out.

All things considered, living there for a year is kind of an easy way out compared to the hoops some states will subject you to!

Own property and live in it for 12 consecutive months, then POOF you're a resident in the eyes of TMDSAS.

Texas is hard to claim residency. The above are just "guidelines" not guaranteed you will receive residency.

Own property. Work full time in Texas. Change your drivers license. Change your car registration. Change your voter registration. Do all of this for a minimum of year

Also, why do you want to change your residency? If you want to reapply that wouldn't be established in time? If you get accepted to a texas med school, are you looking for IS tuition? Bc I feel like once you told them you were a full time med student they wouldn't approve your residency
