So i'll keep this simple- my medical school ( I will not disclose the name of the school) uses BRS, lippincott's and other easily accessible board preparation material review questions as test questions on course examinations: often representing as much as 70% of the test. Is this a violation of any accreditation standard? Where does this point on your moral compass? What are your thoughts?

I would say it points North

No, it's not a violation and #2 - you should be thanking your stars, since professor made exams are useless when it comes to USMLE Step 1 anyways. Be lucky you're doing board review questions on your exams. This has nothing to do with morality. Get the stick out of your butt.

The giant compass makes me feel better

Our main path professor is quite open about how half of the questions come from Robins rapid review for our path questions and yet people still get them wrong
