I want to know more about ethics and the possible questions that could be asked at an interview.

I've taken a look at: http://depts.washington.edu/bioethx/topics/index.html

Are there any other topics that you guys can think of? Cloning, stem cell research, and abortion come to mind? Anything else?

while all those are staple topics, i would think its all about healthcare reform right now. brush up on that. something new in the news about it every day (today, for example, the senate passed the bill).

It's good to know both. In my experience some schools or interviewers are particularly big on ethics questions, some aren't. You can usually tell through the interview feedback page on SDN.

I got asked about euthanasia and patient autonomy. And that's it. Sort of rarer ones, but that made up 100% of my ethics questions.

I would definitely be ready to talk about politico-healthcare issues though. Not really ethics questions, per se, but definitely something you'll want to be able to talk intelligently about.

👍 It's pretty damn comprehensive. Some of the clinical examples are things I have always wondered about, too.

I mostly got asked about what problems I saw in the American medical system.

Same exact book we used in our medical ethics class; fairly comprehensive stuff.
