My sup said they will send out a letter to show you how to accept it but I havent seen it yet either.

I remembered my sup mentioned that the new stock that they just implemented this year will be vested immediately. They will be sending out postcards in May for instructions on how to accept
I got a letter today explaining that it is RSUs instead of stock options. Said it will be at the same Etrade spot. Not immediately vested, same three year waiting period.

Yup they will still vest over 3 years, but instead of options they will grant shares of stock in the form of RSUs. If the company believes that the stock is going to go up tremendously in the upcoming 5-7 years, this will save them a ton of money (if the stock flat lines or falls, this is better for the employees because the shares will be worth something instead of 0 value options).
Anyone hear anything yet?
I got a letter in the mail that said it will appear "around May 1st" on etrade.
For first timer like me will they send something out to show you how to accept the grant?
you should receive the letter by now, telling you how to activate it on etrade. // if you miss the grant acceptance deadline, you won't get a second chance. check your mailing address with the company. if you move around, they may have already sent to your old address.
The letter just said to go on etrade. I still don't have anything on etrade to accept yet though. It wasn't this late the last couple years

If you go to eTrade, click on "Stock Plan" and then click on the "Holdings" tab, you'll see this message

It's finally up for me.
I could have sworn that the letter said something about prior year grants in stock options being converted to RSUs. I can't find one of those letters. i am looking at eTrade and the stock options granted in 2016 remain classified as options.
I still didnt get a letter with the code to activate my account for first time user.
Call the number on the back of the letter and they'll give you one over the phone and walk you through how to activate your account.
