Greetings everyone,
I would just like to get some thoughts regarding my current chances to be admitted into a M.D. program and what I could do to better my chances.
First off, my MCAT score is low and likely I will need to improve it; however, what are my chances with it?
Major: Biology Minor: Chemistry
MCAT: 26 (8 PS/ 7 VR/ 11 BS)
cGPA: 3.70 sGPA: 3.53
Experiences:
1) 20 weeks undergraduate research experience in department of pathology at my university's medical school
2) Shadowed family medicine physician (~ 20 hrs)
3) Volunteer at emergency room at local hospital (~50 hrs +)
4) Worked on my family's farm for 10+ years
5) middle school science fair judge
6) Tutor for high school English-language learners
Thank you to all who reply
