So my secondaries started rolling in and one from a low tier school is pretty all about asking if I have a personal or familial connection to the school past or present, which I have none. Only thing I can fill out on this app is the question asking if there's anything I would like to add to my app. Is this even worth filling out and paying the money since I'm no where near the focus of this secondary?

I almost didn't submit the secondary for the school I attend because I thought I wasn't likely to be accepted. The money is a drop in the bucket. Unless you're confident you wouldn't attend if accepted, it's probably worth submitting a secondary. The cost isn't negligible, but it's a drop in the bucket for what you'll have to pay to become a physician.

Just because they ask for familial connections does not mean it is the "focus" of the secondary. Many schools ask that and it doesn't really mean anything unless you DO have a strong connection to the school. Send the secondary in if you want to apply to the school. You already paid an AMCAS fee for it.
