Stats:
cGPA- 3.3, sGPA- 3.3, graduate GPA- 3.5, MCAT 509 (balanced
orm, VA resident. ( I have tried applying twice with no luck)
I'm really conflicted between these schools because Gtown will help me cast a wider net but its more difficult vs EVMS where if I do well I can get into EVMS
Gtown
-More recognized and tons of people get into schools all across the US
- Very big class size
- Very difficult
EVMS
- Usually half of the class ends up getting into EVMS MD program
- Usually people from here go to med school here not other programs typically
- Im a VA resident so I might have a leg up here and its not as difficult as Gtown so my GPA could be higher
Any advice is appreciated especially from former and current EVMS or Gtown SMPers!
