Given my circumstances (see my latest thread) would completing EVMS' SMP be beneficial for me? I know EVMS offers a 2 year program and I wonder if this would be sufficient to address my past (after taking time off to address issues)?

You need to seek help before you start considering these things. Your recent posts have made it very clear that you are not in a state of mind to deal with your mental health problems AND attempt to correct your academics at the same time. Focus on the one that is most important. Please schedule an appointment with your therapist.

I already have scheduled an appointment but I can still plan for the future, no?

Right now, no. Your recent posts have made it very clear that you are not in the proper frame of mind to consider your future in medicine until after you have your mental health concerns taken care of.

Weren't you abandoning SDN? Goodbye.

As I told you before, SMP is your LAST CHANCE. Don't even attempt to begin one until you're stable and can handle academics unlike what your current transcript shows. I know I am being blunt, but if you blow an SMP, that's gameover. It'll show two things: 1. You cannot handle a medical curriculum 2. You cannot make an accurate judgement call and took on something when you weren't ready to.

So just do yourself a favor, hold off on the SMP.
