Anyone have any recent insight on the EVMS surgery residency? There are a few old threads which are overwhelmingly positive, but seem to have dropped off.

In particular, what are the most common procedures residents get exposure to? How is the variety? How is the trauma/critical care exposure?

One would imagine with a Level 1 and LD Britt as your Dept Chair and PD, that there is a fair amount of trauma/CC. I have no doubt that you will be exposed to more than you ever care to see as a resident.

Otherwise there is no reason to believe that the "most common" procedures at EVMS are any different than at any other surgical residency in the US.
