EVMS top 1/3 waitlist

i heard this too from many students when i interviewed there. i was waitlisted in the top tier in november and accepted in february. so keep your hopes up!

Guess what!!! I am currently going to be completing my M1 at EVMS. I was initially placed on the upper 1/3 of the wait list. Typically all of the applicants on the upper half of the waitlist accepted to EVMS. Do you think you will take your acceptance if you get in?

im not sure about what im going to do if im accepted. it would be my first one! do you think i would hear soon after may 15? i was waitlisted in late march, so im wondering if that will push my response time back. thanks! anyone else hear the same thing?

I'm on the top third there, too! Most everyone I've talked to has said there is a lot of movement on the EVMS waitlist, which is good for those of us on it. I'm not so sure about when we'll hear, though. One of my friends didn't get accepted until the day before classes started.
I too am in the top third. It seems like most people last year got in during May and June. I too have heard that if you're in the top third your chance of getting in is very good. Man I hope so!!

I was placed on the EVMS waitlist in February (upper 1/3). I just heard on Friday that I got in! The letter was dated May 12. Pretty sure that I'm going there b/c It is my only acceptance so far.
Also, for those that are interested, you have 10 days (from the date of the letter) to accept the spot and send them your $200 deposit.
There will be a lot more acceptances coming after they tally their numbers. We are past May 15 now, it won't be long. Hang in there folks, you WILL get in!

My good friend's only hope for this application cycle is EVMS--except he is in the second tier waitlist. Officially, according to our premed advisor, he has a chance from the second tier, but what are your experiences?

I have also heard you have a shot from the 2nd tier, good luck to your friend. I hope this waitlist starts moving big-time. Waiting is definitely NOT my forte!
