Has anyone had any experience with or info about this program?

Do they have a strong linkage with the med school? Do a large number of the programs graduates get into the med school the following year? Do you take classes with the medical students?

Does a large percentage of the class get admitted into the med school the following year?

I emailed the school with some questions. Here is their reply:

The courses with the first year medical students are: Medical Molecular Cell Biology, Medical Biochemistry, Histology, Human Physiology and Medical Neuroscience. Approximately 70% of the students in our program are accepted by our medical school and the other 30% are normally accepted by other medical schools.

is there a glide year after completing the program or do most people apply to the program concurrent with applying to the EVMS medical masters program so as to avoid this?

Do you know how selective the school is in their admissions to their program? Avg gpa/mcat? How many people are enrolled in the program every year?

Are the 70% accepted, accepted the very next year or is there a glide year?

there are a gazillion old posts on this forum about the EVMS program. I think most, if not all of your questions can be answered from reading those old posts.

The new Google search function on the SDN forums is very inefficient. Does anyone know how you can search specific forums now, or do advanced searches? This new google search sucks big time.
