So anyway,... after opting out of the restructuring process,.. I decided to return to college to see in what field I would like to retrain.

I like the biochemistry, psychology and I am now doing Human Anatomy and Physiology.

... shall I just pick courses using the MCAT as a guide...?

It seems like a lot of work... but it does appeal... since my own forecast is that given the way the economy is going,... I'd have to work longer (age) and shift to part time work for longer.

But it would be NMAT cause the Philippines is the only economic viable option at the moment...

Any advice

Is this a joke? I'll assume no for the time being. I think your last sentence is indicating that you think the Philippines is the only place where the economy won't tank in the next 10-20 years? Am I on the right track with that? Or maybe you just have connections in the Philippines or think it's the only place your money will last long enough to become a doctor? Not sure...

Anywho, if you want to become a doctor, you should take general chemistry, physics, organic chemistry, and general biology. You need those classes at least to get into any med school in the US. The MCAT is based largely on those classes, though taking anatomy and physiology, biochem, etc. won't hurt certainly. Check out the MSAR for any other classes a specific med school might require you to have.

your post is pretty disjointed and difficult to understand. Are you an ex-financial analyst in the US intending to go to medical school here? I ask because I googled NMAT and it is the medical admissions test for the Philippines. If you intend to go to med school in the Philippines, I doubt we can be of much help here. If you have specific questions on what you need to do to get into a medical school here, ask away. Also some background including prior undergrad classes taken, degrees, what was you motivation to pursue medicine (other than being out of a job) may be helpful.

OK,... clearly I speak math which was my first degree.

I am now in human anatomy at a medical school in my country, Trinidad.

The oral exam was like the weakest link... sudden death.

There is no ... I'll get back to you.

I'm accustomed to doing meetings and presentations and have time to prepare my analysis.

It's not like what is the danger of an infraction at this point.

I have really enjoyed these medical courses,... very different from my engineering background.

I just don't know if I could cope under the stress of medical school. Thinking about switching to special education.

Suppose just not sure of what's next,.. supposed to go for academic advising next week,.. I entered as a non-matriculated student since I already have a degree,.. partially to wait out the recession, partially to explore options outside my first discipline.
