Hi
I am an average caribbean medical student who is taking the exam in july. I need a few advice. I am using First Aid 2010, USMLEworld, and Goljan rapid review pathology...
I wanted to know if this is enough...? ( i am aiming for 220+)
what book should i use for anatomy(because FA has not much anatomy)
I am planning to take NBME forms at the end of this month..
Since I am not taking any prep courses, i really need an advice on my study schedule.
thank you

those 3 resources are definitely solid. you may want to take an NBME before you start studying to see where you stand

Your resources are fine, if you're going to make 220+; in fact with just those 3 you could easily make 230+ so long as you study hard.

I thought USMLE Road Map Gross Anatomy was a good book but I only used it for the pelvic anatomy (which I always have trouble with for some reason) - that being said it's not very high yield on the exam anyway.

I would recommend getting refreshed on Neuroanatomy with HY Neuro at the very least (not super detail, just know what cranial nerve nuclei are in what section of the brainstem, what sort of syndromes you see with certain strokes, make sure to recognize pictures of cross sections, etc).

High Yield Anatomy + Neuroanatomy + Histology are good primers and include much more than you need to know.

If you had time you should have purchased more question banks. But I digress

(And sorry to those whom I promised Offline Form 11; upload speed is a major hamper. I used Snagit and made everything beautiful and organized, but it is a large file, I hope to get it eventually)
