I have a question about the exam krackers 16 mini mcat book.I am doing the exam krackers 10 week schedule plan (to a T) for the mcat and just finished my first week. Following the schedule everytime I took the 30 minute practice test for each subject from the exam krackers mcat book, i would do alright. I believe in biology i got a 9 for the first lecture. for physics also a 9 and got a similiar calculated score in the 1001 book. for verbal i recieved a 6. I know verbal requires much practice and it is only my first week and that is understandable. my bio and physics grades for lecture 1 in the books possibly could have been higher because I made some careless and stupid mistakes (not comfortable yet with taking tests that are much different from any other test I have taken, ex. passages and such). Maybe without the mistakes my score for the first lecture tests would have been a 10, possibly and 11. So now comes the question. At the end of the week you are supposed to take a mini mcat from exam krackers 16 mini mcat book. I took the first one, which I believe is based off the first lectures of the books. I pretty much bombed this mini mcat. for physics I couldnt answer more than half the questions, for verbal i did better than usually but i contribute that a bit too luck. for bio similar story to physics, I actually gave up and didnt finish because my will was gone.

My questions, are the 16 mini mcat tests a good reference point of where you are?
Why is it I did alright during the in class tests in the mcat books but in the mini mcat test I did horribly? Somebody please help or explain something that I might not be getting.

Thank you.

thanks for the reply's. It is the book in the link. Would you say the best indicator is an aamc test from the aamc website?

Definitely recommend you pick up the 16 mini mcats. You would use it for practise. The best indicator would probably be your AAMC average, using the AAMC MCATs. #11 is the best representation.

However, some people have gotten some messed up scores that deviated quite well from their AAMC average. These are rare, and in most cases, people fall within 2 points of their AAMC average.

hey just wondering did the 10 week ek schedule work well for you? i am going to do the 10 week schedule solely and was wondering if it was any good. thanks
