Please help with a pharmacology question!

On page 230 on FA2009 it says Epinephrine (being nonselective for all alpha and beta receptors) do nothing to the blood pressure.

On page 231. Epinephrine infused causes an increase in blood pressure.

Am I missing something, someone please explain to me! I'd so appreciate it. Thank you

Epi admin=increase in systolic BP
Epi admin=no change in net BP (increased systolic+ concomitant decreased diastolic)

on 231- they're using high dose epi, on 230- low/normal? dose

at high dose- alpha1 contributes so the graph looks like that of NE on 230

Really?
I thought that for a moment but was thinking maybe there's something else I am missing 😕

my test is tomorrow too :luck:

i'm about to go to sleep so i can get a solid 13 hours in.
