Examcrackers incredibly brief; but is this all you need to "know?"

So I know the MCAT is mainly a reasoning test over a "knowledge" test, but I couldn't believe looking at the examcrackers MCAT review and comparing it to some of the Kaplan or Princeton books.

Do kaplan in PR just go into too much detail? Or should I really look over the more detailed books if I'm shaky on a subject?

any advice?

EK serves as quick and effective content review for those with already strong content background from coursework. EK focuses on strategy and understanding the exam (this is why their verbal strategy and passages are excellent)

Use TPR or Kaplan if you are weak in content, but even then TBR is a better pick (because it is really thorough on content)

I thought they did a mostly good job but don't trust them on the different pathways. They say to know the regulatory enzymes and that's it but based on the section bank questions you should know glycolysis, Krebs, and even the pentose phosphate pathway pretty well.

I thought EK was perfect, except the psych and soc are missing a lot of info. Use the official exam book to compare topics.
