im just curious. has anyone modified to the ek 10week study plan to more than 10weeks? i am debating whether doing Sn2's study plan (3month one) or a modified ek (would like to modify it into a 12-13 week plan). i like sn2's idea of the passages, but i feel that ek is just easier for me to read and easier to review the material. has anyone here ever used the 10week ek plan and then supplemented it with something else, and if so how? im just thinking the 10week is not enough

People have been successful using variants of both plans. It really depends on how much time you have, what kind of score you are realistically shooting for, and how much work you want to put into it.

You should do whatever works best for you. If you read through the 30+ thread you can get some ideas on how to schedule your study time.

i am taking the test march 26th, so have now until then to prepare for it. i figure id start doing at least 1 verbal passage a day starting 1st week of november and then increase it into 2+/day come december. i want to do as best as i can and am devoting all my time and energy toward it. i love the ek books, but am scared to solely rely on them since sn2 says they are not good for passages. i have all the ek 1001 books as well. in addition, the ek 10week plan doesnt allow you to do enough practice tests, as i want to do all the AAMC tests (4-11). i understand that a plan is tailored individually since everyone has his/her weakness, strengths, goals, etc. but if i was able to make an excel plan, could you guys take a look and let me know what you think?
