hello everyone!

I'm offically a new member of SDN 🙂 ... I've heard such great things about this website and looking through some of the posts, I decided to finally join in!

I really wish I found this website a long time ago because I probably would have saved a lot of time and money if I just read through some of these posts. I took Kaplan, and after reading some of the things people have said about it, I must agree to some extent. But I do have to say, it is a good way to start off your studying. I have the DAT Destroyer, which I must say is extremely helpful. But I was wondering, what should I really focus on in the Destroyer? I know Bio is a given but what about General Chem & QR & Ochem? And how did you study with the Destroyer (ie did you take notes, make flashcards?)

Also, has anyone else taken Kaplan's class and taken those practice tests & section test? how did you feel about them, do they seem helpful or anything like the real thing?

any advice would be EXTREMELY helpful!

Hi there! Welcome to sdn 😀

I can't be of much help right now because I'm still studying.. but I'm taking the Kaplan course right now and doing the full-length practice tests at the end. So far I've found the online class to be a great basis for my studying, but I just got Destroyer, which I'll start afterward the Kaplan class. I've heard so many good things about it. But I think I'll just focus on bio with destroyer. (I've heard that OC and GC are overkill with Destroyer... Kaplan is enough there.)
