I just spoke with Graduate Education, and they told me about changes that they have been pursuing for the last 3 years that will finally be implemented beginning this next fiscal year.

Army dental HPSP students will now have the opportunity to complete BOLC in 3 weeks time. This will be accomplished by completing phase I on your own prior to phase II in San Antonio. There will also be 2 seperate times offerred each summer to complete phase II (June and July). This should allow more students to work BOLC into their school schedules and be able to complete it prior to graduation.

Look for more information this fall through Graduate Education through MODS.

I like this change (except for 3wks of active duty pay), but 1yr too late. It looks like I will still be going after graduation. Thank you for providing us this information!
