Did you find another job?
Congrats on the new job offer!! I asked because I think I recall you posted before you were thinking about leaving even without having landed another job yet. I've been trying to find another job so I can leave retail for over 1.5 years now and haven't had any luck so I'm still stuck in retail as a PIC, which I was forced or tricked into being PIC when I did not want the position.
why do you have to do it?
Just to stay active with the company.
Well I do not have to do it but that is something I should do
Finally , I can say I am about to exit retail hell.
6.5-7 months of hell.
I might or might not pick a shift once a month to remind my self the hell I been through.
Anybody out there preparing for BCPS please pm me.
F that! You won't forget so no need to pick up an extra shift once a month. I thought I would do the same thing. Two weeks out of retail and I had no desire to ever go back. In fact going into a grocery store and walking by the pharmacy makes my stomach queesy.

I don't know...I hated retail so much that I did not do it (as an intern), because I just preferred to be happier. If you really hate the job and you have a new one, why do you want to stay active with the company?
I burnt those bridges, baby, and I don't regret it for a second!
I worked at CVS right after school for about a year. Hated the hours and the work. My SP said I should be happy I am working for CVS. I left and got a hospital job. Love my job....love my work...love the hours and the benefits and the people I work for.
Recently the SP from CVS called me to ask if my hospital was hiring. She was burned out and could not do the work anymore. She said that she felt she was going to have a nervous breakdown soon. However, my hospital is not hiring. And in this economic climate if they do hire it wont be a retail pharmacist. It will be a pharmd with at least 1 year of residency.
LOL...just gotta know the right people dude.
