So my application just got verified today. My stats:
Engineering major in state school
Overall GPA: 3.54
Science GPA: 3.57
MCAT: 514 (130/126/130/128)
Letters from MD, Ochem professor, Bio professor

Here are the schools that I applied to:

Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM)
Liberty College of Osteopathic Medicine (LUCOM)
Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine- Bradenton
Lincoln Memorial University–DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM)
Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine (MU-COM)
Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM)
Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine–Auburn Campus (VCOM-CC)
Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine–Carolinas Campus (VCOM-CC)
Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine–Virginia Campus (VCOM-VC)
William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine (WCUCOM)

My ideal school is LECOM as it is close to home and tuition is relatively inexpensive.

What would be a reasonable timeline for me to receive secondaries and IIs (if any)? Also, what is a reasonable amount of time to take to submit secondary applications? I am working full time right now so my schedule is packed. I know that I submitted the primary late so I am very worried about this whole process now.

I applied to 26 DO schools and I got most of my secondaries within 1 week of verification. A few took 2 weeks. All 4 of my DO II came within a month of sending in my secondary.

Did you apply to any MD schools? Your stats should be good enough for MD, even though it's a bit late in their cycle.

I have applied to MD schools but I am an international student. I have been in the US since middle school but I am not a permanent resident. MD programs are lot more biased against international students. I couldn't apply to most public MD programs. The ones I could apply to are very competitive, higher-tier schools and I believe that my GPA will keep me out of contention for those. That's why I decided to apply to DO programs.

Got it, makes sense. Not sure how your international status will affect your DO chances, but your MCAT is phenomenal and your GPA is above average for most schools. I didn't talk to a single applicant at any of my interviews that had an MCAT even close to yours.

Hi I am also international with similar stats.
MCAT 513 and GPA 3.7 as a science major at an IVY.
Good luck to each of us!

Thank you. This process has just stressed me out so much!

You'll be fine with your stats. Should get secondaries in the next week (dome will be there tomorrow). Can't say when IIs would come in , but I expect you'll get them.
