Nurses are trained to be on the floor and deal with practical clinical issues, often carrying out medical orders instead of actually composing them.
They may handle micro/pharm a little better but when it comes to gross anatomy or pathology, there's just so much new info that it doesn't matter where you're from or what you did, it's all the same for everyone.
The nurses in my class have ZERO advantage in school after the first few months once we all learn some basic terminology.
