Experience with couples mathch?

I am a fourth year med student and will be applying to IM programs this year. My long-time girlfriend is also a fourth year and will be applying to peds. We plan on participating in the couple match so we can make sure we will live in the same geographical area. Can anyone share their experiences/tips for this process? I have read all about the format but I have not talked with many people who have gone through the process. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks
