Hey y'all,
So, I just found out that my committee won't be releasing letters until mid-July "at the earliest". Doesn't this seem to be a bit late? Has anyone had any experience with this? If so, what did you do?

where do you go to undergrad? OU?

Im kinda in the same boat, I already had my interview so i'm just waiting for my letter to be written and uploaded. Have you had your interview? If so I would wait it out. If you have everything else all done, you can submit so your GPA verification can get started.

Had my committee interview at the beginning of Spring semester 🙁 GPA is verified and the supplementals that I can complete are done. However, I won't receive an interview for dental school without the letters of evaluation right?

according to my pre-health advisor, mine were uploaded. Don't know if that means they're are exactly available though.

edit: I go to OU as well

Uploaded to AADSAS? How did you find out?

FWIW, I submitted last year mid July because of a similar reason and I was still among the first to get invites from pretty much every school I got invites to.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am glad it worked out for you, and I hope it works out just as well for me!

Depends on the school. I'm still waiting for my committee letter to be uploaded and received an invite from Nova. Looking at last year's thread it looks like Columbia did the same.

Awesome. Thank you for sharing. I am less worried now. For some reason, I thought that I needed to letters to be in to be considered for interview (have a complete file). Best of luck to you 🙂

@Pearl E. White My committee letter didn't arrive last year until August 2 (super frustrating), however, the VERY next day I got an interview from UConn. 5/7 of my interviews were scheduled pre-December 1, the last two were scheduled for early December and January. With your stats, I would say it's not something to be worried about, you'll just unfortunately have to play the waiting game

mine was uploaded last year around mid/late-August from my committee advisor. it wasn't the end of the world. I got 3 pre-dec & 3 acceptances on dec 1st then 5 post interviews, including UCSF&UPenn..plus i had lower DAT and slightly higher GPA than you. it'll be okay.it's gonna be stressful just waiting but they will roll in. i believe my 1st interview came in like beginning of september...then they all start slowly trickling in.
Congrats! I am glad to hear that it wasn't a hindrance. I thought maybe this situation was outside the norm? I'll be patient 🙂 thank you for the info!

Thanks for the advice and congrats! The wait was worth it in your case 🙂 I hope to be as successful as you.
