Hi all-
I'm looking to get input from either med students who have requested physical disability accommodations during clinical rotations, or faculty who have worked with students requesting these accommodations. Please feel free to DM if you do not want to post publicly. This is all a new diagnosis/experience for me and I have some questions and concerns about the best way to go about addressing the accommodations and potential push-back you may have received. My disability is not obvious, and unfortunately not that predictable yet. At best, I just need to wear supportive footwear/bracing under my scrubs during the day. At worst, I may need to leave suddenly for an acute crisis. Thanks for any input on your experiences that you can give!
