"Expired" Prerequisites?

Hey guys! I'm planning to apply to pharmacy school this summer and be able to attend starting Fall 2017! I've already taken the PCAT and I'm currently a CPhT. I started college in 2011, but took some breaks and will be due to graduate this December with a BA in Biochemistry and Cell Biology!
I had a question of prerequisite courses "expiring." I tried pouring over the internet to see how long prerequisite courses are good for, and I haven't been able to find anything. Is there a general rule of thumb? Do they even "expire?" I might end up having to retake biology, Chemistry 1, and Calculus I, which won't be too bad, just a bit annoying. Any advice or answers will help! Thank you!

I am sure you don't need to retake any of your prereqs again. The rule that I have heard is if the prereqs are older than 10 years then you retake them. You will be fine, I wouldn't suggest retaking any.

It depends on each school you apply to. Some waive the "expiring" classes if you have a degree, some are 5 years, some are seven. You have to check with each school you apply to.

Definitely check with each individual school. Some schools I applied to had a 5 year limit. Though, even schools with limits may allow you to appeal the limit if you can show you've maintained the knowledge either through related work experience or whatever. I appealed a 5 year limit at one school successfully.

The real answer depends on what the last relevant class you took was: for example you took Inorganic Chemistry 1 in 2001. You left school for whatever reason etc etc. You ended up taking Organic Chemistry 1 and 2 around 2013 and 2014. You are still eligible to apply because they start counting from your Organic classes.
