What are the 2 different matchs - AOA and ACGME?

i mean, if i apply in ERAS, how do i participat in one another or both of them?
and what are the advantages of each?

You cannot participate in the AOA match since you're a MD student.

AOA residencies are for DO graduates only.

AOA = American Osteopathic Association = Doctors of Osteopathy = DO = Not MD = You can't apply because they say so. They aren't like ACGME which allows DO to apply.
